Pax Roman launches magazine

The International Movement of Catholic Students MICS Pax Romana of University of Ghana at Legon, Accra, has launched the maiden Edition of their magazine, the PINNACLE at the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Chaplaincy at Legon.
The annual magazine is to educate Catholic students and the public on various issues in society.

Launching it, Mrs. Lucy Peprah-Tawiah, Foundress of the Catholic Twins Society, praised the Movement for its initiative and exhorted students to take up challenges in their various fields of study.

She urged the students to read widely so that they could improve upon their knowledge, advising them to take their studies seriously and hold on to their faith.

In attendance were Prof. Onike Rodrigues, Acting Dean of School of Nursing, Legon, who chaired and Dr. Raymond Atuguba, a lecturer at the Faculty of Law.

Others were Mr. George Baa-Danquah, Mr. Godwin Doagbodzie of Ghana Telecom, some members of the Catholic Twins Society, Nana Tawiah Okyir, former President of Pax Romana and representatives of some companies who sponsored the magazine.

A Eucharistic celebration presided over by Rev. Fr. Mike Perry Okyerefo and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Ebenezer Akesseh, the Parochial Administrator preceded the launch.
